LOCATION: Latimer County in Southeast OK.,
less than 4 hrs from Dallas, 3 hrs-OKC, 2 hrs-Tulsa, 1.5 hrs-Ft.Smith. Located NW of Wilburton and
just ¼ mile south of the James Collins WMA and 3 miles east of Robbers Cave
State Park.
SITE: 370 acres m/l of very
diversified terrain offering excellent wildlife habitat potential and
recreational use. The property lies on the western edge of the Sans Bois
Mountains on Degnan Mountain. Excellent views to the
north feature the north slopes of the Sans Bois across the James Collins WMA.
COVER: A mixture of mainly
hardwood and pine with a scattering of glades and fields. Some of the timber is
considered marketable. There are several established food plots. Roads and
trails basically make the entire tract accessible.
ACCESS: County maintained roads are within 2
miles of the property, with private roads for property owners and well service
employees the rest of the way. The roads are in good shape.
WILDLIFE: Deer, turkey, wild hog, small game. The
James Collins WMA, which is practically bordered, is noted for it’s deer and turkey hunting.
Excellent development potential for wildlife exists.

terrain, while diverse, is not extreme, allowing for development for wildlife
